still a work in progress because the code will only work with the Euler
integration scheme for now.
we need to switch `enforce_unit_orientation` to work on the orientation
itself, and to call it in a different place in the code.

the "simname_particles.h5" file is now only opened once, and then
samples are written the same as before.
some sanity checks of the velocity and acceleration data should still be
performed.

I want to properly accomodate postprocessing codes, so I need something
more general than `direct_numerical_simulation`.

Add a sampling method -- update to be generic against the field -- need to update NSVEparticles::do_stats

for scaling tests, if we don't want to get stuck on I/O things...

keep NSVEparticles, since it's a child of NSVE and everything is more
consistent this way
