Beginning with 2nd June, only the "Single Sign On" option for login to the GitLab web interface will be possible. If you don't have an MPCDF wide second factor so far, please get one at our SelfService (https://selfservice.mpcdf.mpg.de). The GitLab internal second factor will not work.

This module implements the *ctapipe* class, needed to read the calibrated data of the MAGIC telescope system. It requires the [*ctapipe*](https://github.com/cta-observatory/ctapipe) and [*uproot*](https://github.com/scikit-hep/uproot) packages to run.
### Note: This package is under heavy development, and recent development is taking place at [MPCDF GitLab](https://gitlab.mpcdf.mpg.de/ievo/ctapipe_io_magic). Check if the current master branch at [github.com/cta-observatory](https://github.com/cta-observatory/ctapipe_io_magic) is up to date with MPCDF if using the former. Usage at your own risk, it is recommended to contact one of the latest committers at the [MPCDF GitLab repository](https://gitlab.mpcdf.mpg.de/ievo/ctapipe_io_magic) if you plan to use this package.
#### Installation
Provided *ctapipe* is already installed, the installation can be done like so:
