How can I use the MPCDF Gitlab
To use the Gitlab service, you need need to have a valid account.
MPG users can opt in to get an account themselves, connected to their MPCDF account.
Guests who want to collaborate should ask an MPCDF user for an invitation.
For an overview of all the features of Gitlab and how to use them in your projects, have a look at this post on the gitlab.com blog.
10/01/2019: New authentication backend
MPCDF users can continue to log in using their normal MPCDF username and password. Guest users have received a new username of the form "g-xxx" via mail and should now log in using this username instead of their mail address.
You can read more about the change on our webpage.
