To use the Gitlab service, you need need a DataShare account. MPCDF users can opt in themselves. Guests who want to collaborate should ask an MPCDF user for an invitation.

10/01/2019: New authentication backend
MPCDF users can continue to log in using their MPCDF username and password. Guest users will receive a new username of the form "g-xxx" via mail and must now log in using this username instead of their mail address.
