Unique geometries only counted for one config per run

This does not make sense and does not fit the advertised description of "unique simulated systems". The problem is that the hash only computed for normalized systems and only one system per run is normalized. We should normalize atoms, positions, cell, and pbc for all systems and compute the hash for all systems.
