Make convergence tests less fragile
The switch to numpy
's new RNG interface has shown that some of our convergence and consistency tests are not very robust: in principle these tests should succeed for any random seed we use during the problem setup, but this is apparently not the case. We should have a closer look at the problematic tests and fix them accordingly.
